About Contacting SKE
Please be patient. We receive an extremely high volume of messages and have limited time to respond, but we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you don't receive a response within 2 weeks of contact, please send a follow-up message.

We check our inboxes and messages most Tuesdays and Fridays, barring holidays and rescue emergencies. Outside of these days, response times may vary.

Want to chat more? Fill the adoption application - upon submitting, you'll receive a link to book a free adoption inquiry chat with Steph. Due to the high volume of adoption inquiries and our limited time, we can only answer detailed questions once an application has been submitted.

Want to visit the rescue horses? Check out our local education programs to book lessons, a farm tour, or see volunteer opportunities. We encourage local adopters to visit and get to know our rescues via those local education programs. We encourage distance adopters to submit an application to be approved, then Steph can coordinate an adoption visit. Distance adopters can also book a virtual consult to talk with Steph.

Looking to surrender an equine? We are currently at full capacity and utilizing foster homes to accommodate the number of equines in our rescue program. We maintain a waitlist and prioritize intakes based on risk, needs, and adoptability. To be placed on the waitlist, email the adoptions email (adopt@skequine.com) with information about the equine and their situation.
