Karma

Adopted 2020

Karma is one of the four mares who managed to support her pregnancy through abandonment, starvation, rescue, and rehabilitation. She is a sweet, smart 21-year-old mare. She had clearly been mistreated and had a lot of learned helplessness (was very "shut down"). I was honored to be able to help her come out of her shell. She is now living a happy life as a pet/riding companion.
